Dr. Elliott's team arrived in Nubra Valley and after a greeting by most of the community, immediately set up a fully operational dental clinic in the dining hall of Lamdon School in the main village of Disket. In addition, several other classrooms were utilized for private clinics specializing in eye care, general medical conditions as well as gynecological exams and screening.

I am a dentist in the UK and have enjoyed reading details of the expeditions. I have been a volunteer in India, a long time ago, and recently to remote areas of Honduras, mostly extracting teeth, and supervising fluoride applications.
I am looking for a new venture and location and would be keen to know if you have any opportunities for 2010 and if I am the kind of volunteer you are looking for.
I look forward to hearing from you
